Pharmacists play a key role in healthcare, providing accessible services like administering vaccines and adjusting prescriptions. However, as their responsibilities grow, so does the challenge of dealing with pseudoscientific products like homeopathy. A recent study reviews how homeopathy is taught in U.S. pharmacy schools, raising concerns about its place in science-based pharmacy education. Homeopathy, lacking scientific support, is often sold alongside real medicine, confusing patients. The study found homeopathy is part of the curriculum in many schools, but the depth and criticality of the teaching remain unclear.
