CELEBRATE THE WINTER SOLSTICE WITH RMA
The days are getting shorter, which means our Winter Solstice celebration is just around the corner! Join the Rocky Mountain Atheists community on December 19 as we come together to mark the season, connect with friends, meet new people, and celebrate as a secular community.
Our Winter Solstice gathering is all about community—and this year, we’d love for you to be part of bringing it together.
LEND A HAND THIS WINTER SOLSTICE
Great community events don’t come together on their own! We’re looking for volunteers who can contribute some time and energy to make this year’s Winter Solstice celebration a memorable one.
Whether you can help with preparations, setup, activities during the event, or simply step in wherever an extra pair of hands is needed, every contribution makes a difference.
You don’t need to make a big commitment. Even a little of your time can help us create a welcoming and enjoyable celebration for everyone.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!
As RMA continues to organize more events and activities, we need more members of our community to step forward and help us keep them going.
We’re currently looking for people who can contribute to community events, WeCanReason webinars, youth programming, social media and communications, and other RMA initiatives. You don’t need special experience or a lot of free time. If you have some time, an idea, or a skill you’d like to contribute, we want to hear from you!
Our community is powered by volunteers, and we simply can’t do everything we want to do without more people getting involved.
Ready to lend a hand? Talk to a board member at one of our events or contact us at communications@rockymountainatheists.ca.
YOUR TIME. YOUR IDEAS. OUR COMMUNITY.

WeCanReason Webinar – Getting Real with Death with Janet Arnold

Getting Real with Death invites us to think openly about end-of-life wishes, healthcare decisions, preparing for the unexpected, and reducing stress for the people we leave behind. Rather than being depressing, these conversations can be surprisingly life-affirming and help us think more intentionally about how we want to live.
Janet Arnold is a Registered Social Worker and Certified Thanatologist with more than 20 years of experience in death, dying, bereavement, crisis management, and suicide intervention. She has also taught courses on death and dying at Mount Royal University for fifteen years and encourages people to develop a more open, informed, and compassionate understanding of mortality.
